The Horticulture Group meets four times a year to tour a members garden. The usual dates are the fourth Monday of the months: Oct., Jan., Mar., and Apl. This year the Horticulture Co-chairs have been featuring “Color in the Landscape” with easy plants to grow and propagate. We have encouraged members to try to propagate their own plants for themselves and the community plant sales. At our meetings we hold a social time where members can share plants, share problems, share suggestions and new ideas. We encourage new members to join us, and we learn from each other.
Examples of colorful plants shown here include
- Cuban Buttercup
- Day Lily
- Pink and Yellow Shrimp Plants
- Colorful Coleus varieties
