Welcome to the Sweetwater Oaks Garden Club Website

Thanks for stopping by! We’re delighted to have interested gardeners, prospective members, and out own members checking us out.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener, a beginner, or a new Floridian trying to figure out what grows in sand, you’ll find a warm welcome here. Our club brings together people who share a love of nature and gardening, from a single windowsill herb to a flourishing backyard oasis. We enjoy learning from one another, sharing ideas, and growing friendships along with our gardens.

Educational programs and optional tours are offered monthly, September through May, to inspire, educate, and encourage gardeners of all levels and interest. Members have many opportunities, to enhance their gardening knowledge, develop new skills, and discover fresh ideas they can use in their own gardens.

Our community service projects include maintaining two public pollinator gardens, holding twice-yearly plant sales, presenting Arbor Day celebrations, and hosting the annual Garden Fair which attracts 3,000+ visitors and vendors. Working side by side on these projects offers opportunities to get to know fellow gardeners, build lasting friendships, and make a positive impact in our community.

We are members of the National Garden Club and the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Both of these organizations offer incredible resources and opportunities- many available onsite- that expand our learning options beyond our local meetings.
